Makassar, February 19, 2025 – The BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing) program of 2025 at UIN Alauddin Makassar officially finished today in a closing agenda held at the International Office. The event was attended by international students from Thailand, Sudan, and Iraq, who had actively participated in the program.
The closing ceremony was led by the Head of the International Office, Dr. Serliah Nur, M.Hum., M.Ed., who officially marked the end of the program while encouraging students to continue their learning Bahasa Indonesia. “We hope that even after this program ends, all international students will keep improving their Indonesian language skills and apply them in their daily lives,” she stated.
During the event, students expressed their gratitude for the enriching experience provided by the BIPA program. Aslin, one of the international student, shared his appreciation:
“Thank you for everything you have taught us. The BIPA class was exciting and comfortable, which made me even more enthusiastic about learning.”
The BIPA program at UIN Alauddin Makassar has played a significant role in helping international students adapt to academic and social life in Indonesia. With the successful completion of this session, the International Office hopes to continue fostering language learning and cross-cultural understanding among its diverse student community.
