Makassar, March 11, 2025 – UIN Alauddin Makassar hosted a Sharing Session on Australia Awards Scholarship at the Rectorate Meeting Room, 1st floor, Campus 2. The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector of Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amri, LC., M.Ag., who emphasized the importance of international scholarships in fostering academic excellence and global collaboration. The event was also attended by the Head of the International Office, Dr. Serliah Nur, M.Hum., M.Ed. who served as the organizing committee chair.
This sharing session featured Dr. Alex Stephens, the Australian Consul in Makassar, as the speaker. He provided insights into the Australia Awards Scholarship, including eligibility criteria, the application process, and tips for a successful application. The session was moderated by the lecturer from International Relation, Faradiba Rahma Bachtiar, M.A., Ph.D, who is also an alumna of RMIT University, Australia.
Participants engaged actively in the discussion, asking questions about scholarship requirements and life as a student in Australia.
