On August 03, 2026, The International Office of Alauddin State Islamic University of Makassar (UIN Alauddin Makassar) officially welcomed its newest interns from the Department of International Relations: Khofifah Nursahidah, Riska Yuliana, Ariadne Toar: This internship program provides students with practical experience in international cooperation, academic mobility, and global engagement within the university environment.

The Head of the International Office, Dr. Serliah Nur, M.Hum., M.Ed., together with the office staff, Widyawati, M.P., warmly welcomed the new interns and introduced them to the office environment, organizational structure, and staff members.

Throughout the internship period, the student will actively contribute to a variety of programs and daily operational activities at the International Office. Their responsibilities include assisting with international partnership initiatives, supporting academic exchange programs, handling the recruitment process, interviews, and accommodation arrangements for international students, participating in international events, and contributing to administrative and communication tasks under the guidance of the office staff.

As an International Relations student, the interns view this opportunity as more than just practical training. they believe the internship will bridge the gap between the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in the classroom and the practical implementation of international cooperation and institutional diplomacy.
