Makassar – The Consulate General of Japan in Makassar hosted a reception in celebration of the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan. The event took place on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Lotus A Ballroom, Four Points by Sheraton Makassar. Dr. Serliah Nur, Head of the International Office, attended the event on behalf of the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amri, Lc., M.Ag.

This reception was not only a moment of celebration but also aimed to strengthen the collaboration between the Japanese Government and Indonesian Government in Makassar, particularly UIN Alauddin Makassar. This partnership is expected to create more opportunities for cooperation in education, culture, and research.

As part of the efforts to enhance bilateral relations, the parties also discussed potential new collaborations. It is hoped that this initiative will expand international educational opportunities and foster a deeper cultural understanding between the two nations.
