Makassar, November 6, 2024 — The Rector of UIN Alauddin Makassar held a meeting with Prof. Josaphat Tetuko Sri Sumantyo from Chiba University, Japan, to discuss further academic collaboration between the two institutions. The meeting started at 12:00 p.m. and was followed by a lunch gathering.

This visit served as a follow-up to a previous meeting that explored opportunities for cooperation in education, research, and cultural exchange between UIN Alauddin and Chiba University. The discussions aimed to strengthen ties and pave the way for more concrete collaborative projects.

Prof. Josaphat Tetuko Sri Sumantyo was accompanied by Dr. Ilham Alimuddin, ST., M.GIS., from Universitas Hasanuddin (UNHAS). The meeting was also attended by the Head of International Office and Coordinator of the Cooperation Division, who shared insights on the future collaborative programs.

The discussion proceeded in a warm and constructive manner, reflecting a shared commitment to international collaboration in advancing inclusive and progressive education.
