Bali, October 3, 2024 – UIN Alauddin Makassar took part in a workshop on international collaboration agreements at the Pullman Hotel, Bali. Organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the event aimed to help educational institutions improve their ability to form strong international partnerships through well-structured legal agreements.
The workshop was opened by Imam Syukani, S. Ag., M. H., the acting Head of the Legal and International Collaboration Bureau, who highlighted the importance of legal frameworks in global collaborations. Other key speakers included Tovan Akbar Nugroho Cahyo Nugroho, S.Ip. and Fertiana Santy, MPPM, CM, Ph.D, who provided practical guidance on drafting agreements.
UIN Alauddin Makassar was represented by the Head of the International Office Dr. Serliah Nur, M.Hum., M.Ed., and a partnership staff Rizki Fitria Nasra, S.TP. The Head of the International Office expressed that the workshop would lead to “a standardized draft template for international MoUs from the Legal and International Collaboration Bureau, which would simplify our international collaborations.”
The workshop gathered participants from various PTK (Pergururan Tinggi Keagamaan) institutions across Indonesia, focusing on important stages of international collaboration such as planning, drafting, and negotiation, aimed at enhancing global partnerships within the religious higher education sector.
