Makassar, October 21, 2024 – The Rector of Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Alauddin Makassar welcomed representatives from the Malaysian Embassy during an official meeting held in the rector’s conference room at UIN Alauddin Makassar at 09:00 WITA on Monday, October 21.
During the meeting, the Rector expressed hopes that cooperation between UIN Alauddin and various universities in Malaysia can be strengthened in the future.
“We hope that in the future there will be more collaborations between UIN Alauddin Makassar and Malaysian universities, especially in the fields of education and research,” the Rector stated.
It is hoped that the cooperation that will be mutually agreed upon can be sustainable and well monitored. The parties also discussed collaboration on a double degree program that allows students to study at two universities, both domestically and internationally.
The meeting was attended by UIN Alauddin Makassar’s Rector, Vice Rectors, university staffs and representatives from Malaysian universities, is hoped to serve as a starting point to open more international collaboration opportunities, particularly between Indonesia and Malaysia at the same time enhancing the quality of education between the two countries
