Makassar, November 8, 2024 – The Introduction to Indonesian Culture and Language Development for Foreign Speakers (BIPA III) program officially finished on Friday, November 8, 2024.

This program, designed specifically for international students, aims to introduce them directly to the Indonesian language and culture, making communication easier during their studies in Indonesia, particularly at UIN Alauddin Makassar.

In addition to language learning, participants also engaged in various cultural activities that began on October 22.

The Indonesian language training was led by Dra. Hamsiah Djafar, M.Hum., along with the Head of the International Office, Dr. Serliah Nur, M.Hum., M.Ed., who also taught Indonesian.

The international students’ enthusiasm grew as they were paired with English Education students as mentors. In the future, it is hoped that they will be able to collaborate with other international students in learning Indonesian.

This program not only provides language comprehension but also strengthens cultural ties between international and local students, building meaningful collaboration that benefits both parties.
