Makassar, October 21, 2024 – An education exhibition featuring Malaysian universities took place at Four Points Hotel Makassar on October 21 at 1 until 6 PM. The event was attended by the Head of the International Office of UIN Alauddin Makassar.
During the exhibition, opportunities for collaboration were explored with several universities, particularly with Universiti Malaya and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The UM and UIN Alauddin Makassar plan to collaborate in the field of student mobility and staff mobility programs whereas, the Head of the International Office also agreed that there will be a strengthening of joint cooperation with UKM after the previous MoU. The event aimed to strengthen ties and promote educational partnerships between Indonesian and Malaysian institutions.
Dr. Serliah Nur, M.Pd., MEd as the head of International Office engaged in discussions about various academic programs and research initiatives. The exhibition provided a platform for networking and sharing insights on the educational landscape.
In addition, participants were able to learn about the unique features and strengths of each participating university. This event marks a significant step towards enhancing international cooperation in education, ultimately benefiting students and academic communities in Indonesia and Malaysia.
