Makassar, 30 August 2025 — The International Office of UIN Alauddin Makassar held the Closing Ceremony of BIPA II and Cultural Introduction 2025 at Bosowa Beach Tanjung, Makassar, South Sulawesi. The event was closed by the Head of the International Office, Dr. Serliah Nur, and took place from 7 a.m. until finish. This closing was not just a trip to the beach, but also a chance for international students to learn and experience Indonesian culture.

The event was also a farewell for Abdullah Taha, an international student from Iraq who had finished his studies at UIN Alauddin and would soon return home. In his message, Abdullah said: “Semangat! Keep your spirit in finishing your studies for your family and your country. Even when it feels hard and you want to give up, remember your first purpose in coming to Indonesia: to learn and to make your country better.”

Another student, Nessma Bazeez from Algeria, also shared her happiness. She said: “I was very happy today because I could learn at the beach and met other international students. It was a memorable experience.”

Through this activity, we hoped international students could feel more motivated to study and feel closer to Indonesian culture and the UIN Alauddin community.
