Makassar – UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya visited UIN Alauddin Makassar on Thursday, December 5, 2024. This visit aimed to strengthen ties and conduct benchmarking regarding the management of the International Office (IO) at both institutions.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Vice Rector for Collaboration and Institutional Development, Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Amir, Lc., M.Ag.

The Head of the International Office of UIN Alauddin Makassar, Dr. Serliah Nur, M.Hum., M.Ed., accompanied by the collaboration staffs, delivered a welcoming speech. In her remarks, Dr. Serliah expressed pride in the visit and hoped that the synergy between the two institutions would continue to grow stronger in the future.

The Director of the International Office of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, Nabiela Naily, S.Si., M.HI., M.A., along with Fitriah, Ph.D., as the representative, expressed their appreciation for the warm reception from UIN Alauddin Makassar.

In addition to the discussion, the visit would strengthen a closer collaboration. The benchmarking among two institutions covered various aspects, including strategies for developing international collaborations, managing foreign student admission programs, and other innovations implemented by the International Offices of both universities.

The visit concluded with a group photo session as a symbol of friendship between UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya and UIN Alauddin Makassar. Both parties expressed hope that this visit would strengthen a closer collaboration in the future.
