Bandar Seri Begawan, November 21, 2024 – On behalf of the Rector, Vice Rector IV, Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Amri, Lc., M.Ag., of Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Alauddin Makassar, attended the 14th Convocation Ceremony (Majlis Konvokesyen ke-14) of the Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) on Thursday (21/11). The event, held at KUPU SB in Brunei Darussalam, was officially inaugurated by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, and was conducted with solemnity and a spirit of gratitude.

On this occasion, Vice Rector IV was accompanied by the Head of the Cooperation Coordination Division, Ismi Sabariah, S.A.B., M.Adm., SDA. Their presence was not only as honored guests but also to strengthen international collaboration between UIN Alauddin Makassar and KUPU SB.

The 14th Convocation Ceremony of KUPU SB, held in the year 1446 Hijri/2024 Gregorian, was a historic moment attended by delegations from various institutions, including UIN Alauddin Makassar. Vice Rector IV expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome extended by KUPU SB and hoped that this collaboration would bring significant benefits to both parties.

The highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions. This MoU marks a strategic step toward fostering academic partnerships, including the development of educational programs, research initiatives, and cultural exchange.
