UIN Alauddin Makassar held a workshop titled “Workshop Penyusunan Roadmap Kerjasama” on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the Senate Meeting Room, 4th Floor of the Rectorate Building, Campus 2, UIN Alauddin Makassar. The event, which began at 08:30 WITA, aimed to elevate the university’s ranking and academic standing at both national and international levels.

Representing the Rector, Vice Rector II, Dr. H. Andi Aderus, Lc., M.A., along with Vice Rector IV for Cooperation and Institutional Development, attended the event to deliver opening remarks and full support for this initiative. This workshop aligns with UIN Alauddin Makassar’s vision of becoming competitive educational institution.

The workshop featured Prof. Dr. Abd. Mujib, M.Ag., M.Si., a Professor from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, as the keynote speaker. In his presentation, the speaker recommended that UIN Alauddin establish clear benchmarks by identifying competitors, whether similar institutions or otherwise, on regional, national, or international scales. Benchmarking against higher-performing institutions, he emphasized, would enable UIN Alauddin to achieve its desired milestones within a specified timeframe.

The workshop, attended by The Head of International Office of UIN Alauddin Makassar along with the heads of administrative units and heads of the department in UIN Alauddin university, reflected UIN Alauddin Makassar’s commitment to achieving top-tier accreditation and strengthening its competitiveness nationally and internationally.

This initiative is part of UIN Alauddin Makassar’s realistic efforts to enhance its collaborative networks with various stakeholders, aiming to support the university’s mission to improve the quality of education and institutional standing.
